Constructed in 1949, the development consists of thirty-one individual Cape Cod-style family homes. The homes are located throughout the residential neighborhoods of Ely Avenue, John Street, South Street, and Sunset Avenue.
Local families with a veteran receive preference over other family applicants. Some maintenance is provided by the Housing Authority, while residents are responsible for most utility costs and for maintaining their respective grounds.
